Pray to Saint Michael for protection in the New Year

As we close the old year of 2008, and open the New Year od 2009, we must pray and ask Saint Michael the Archangel for help.

Here is a prayer you can say to him:

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the malice and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.
