Muslim leaders attack the Pope

This takes the cake.  Muslim leaders are attacking the Pope and breaking off ecumenical dialogue because of the Pope’s remarks against the recent surge of Muslim killings of Catholics.

From Egypt, we hear that Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb, the president of an Egyptian university and leaders of the Islamic Research Academy are very upset about the Pope’s remarks and have said they are breaking off dialogue with the Vatican.
