Croatians give same-sex "marriage" the thumbs

In five days time Croatians will vote on a hotly debated issue, in the country's first-ever popularly organized referendum. An opinion poll indicates the majority are against same-sex unions

An opinion poll has shown that a majority of Croatians (68%) said they will vote in favour of a constitutional amendment de facto prohibiting same-sex marriages in a referendum due in five days time.

This majority insist on the definition of marriage as ''a union between a man and a woman'.”  More here:
