The End of Thanksgiving

Shocking:

Stores in Walden Galleria Mall in Cheektowaga, New York, will be fined for NOT opening by 6PM on Thanksgiving Day. This consumerist tyranny has got to stop!

Ask the Walden Galleria Mall to NOT fine store owners, but instead let them spend Thanksgiving Day with their families in peace...

                                                       ***

Year after year, crazy consumerism eats away at one of the last remnants of peaceful family time in America – Thanksgiving Day.

Last year, we saw more and more stores pushing people to shop on Thanksgiving Day!

But this year, we’re facing something much worse...

According to media reports, the Walden Galleria Mall in Cheektowaga, New York, (near Buffalo) will fine stores $200 per hour for NOT opening by 6pm on Thanksgiving.

This is outrageous.

Are store owners no longer free to stay home with their families on Thanksgiving?
I guess not. So...

Is it right for a Mall to fine shop owners who

do NOT open on Thanksgiving?

If you say NO, then here’s something you can do. Sign our petition with this message:

Dear Walden Galleria Mall:

"Please don’t fine shops owners who stay home with family instead of doing business on Thanksgiving Day!"

Sign this petition right now!

Your action is absolutely necessary!

You see, to have a major impact, we need to collect thousands of signatures. And we need to do it now, before Thanksgiving Day.

Your signed petition – along with all the others – will be presented to the Walden Galleria Mall asking them NOT to fine stores who stay closed on Thanksgiving Day!

Thank you!
